A: Our clay beads are strong and durable and will resist breakage. If your beads start to get dirty, try scrubbing them with a toothbrush and mild soap. Watch out! Newsprint or dark clothing may stain lighter colored beads.
Q: How durable are the beads?
A: Our handmade beads will exceed your expectations no matter what. The beads will not crack, break, fade, chip...they are even waterproof! All of our beads carry a lifetime guarantee with regular wear and tear.
Q: Where are the beads made?
A: Our beads are 100% Made in America. Each bead is individually hand-designed and hand-crafted in our Chicagoland studio. We are selective in both quality as well as country of origin when sourcing to add to our jewelry. Anything we can source locally, we do! We are one of 5 Chicagoland companies recognized by ABC's Made In America website (which included a screening of over 80% materials sourced in the US).
Q: Is there a logo on the products? How do I know they are authentic?
A: Of course. You will notice a logo on all of our products. On the bracelets/necklaces/keychains, locate the knot, you will see a 'small' SB (She Beads) or HB (He Beads) logo near the hole on the bead. On the earrings, you will notice a 'small' SB (She Beads logo) on the bottom of the earring.
A: The "One of a Kind" items are unique pieces that you will not otherwise find in other collections. These may be necklaces or bracelets that we believe are especially beautiful but do not fall within our standard product descriptions. They may be new items such as rope necklaces or unique bracelets. Or they may even be specialty items that we have created such as buttons or peppermills. Each item is photographed so that you can be confident that you are purchasing exactly what you see. Since each item is "One of a Kind", once it is sold, the picture will be removed and another item will be shown.

A: These exclusive items are handcrafted by Sandy. Since Sandy’s time at the bead table is very limited these days, Couture items are especially sought after by She Beads collectors. Each Couture item is individually photographed and will display a description with the size, price and colors. Each item made by Sandy will display 2 signature "SB" trademarks next to the knot. Due to the specialty of these items, size adjustments and matching pieces cannot be made. Once a Couture item is sold, there will never be another one like it.
A: If you have selected USPS Priority Mail or USPS First Class for your shipment, please allow at least 2 business days for us to create your order. We will then ship your product and notify you via email with the tracking information. If you have selected Fed Ex overnight and your order is placed before 1pm Central Time on a regular business day, your order will arrive the following business day. Orders received after 1 pm Central Time will be processed and shipped the following business day.
A: Polish and shine sterling spacers with a polishing cloth. If dirt has collected in the sterling, apply sterling polish to a toothbrush and scrub the spacers.
A: The earring posts and French clips are made from .925 sterling silver.
A: If your crystals have lost their sparkle, your She Beads may be restrung with new rhinestones for a $20 fee. To keep your Swarovski Crystals looking new, please limit the exposure of rhinestones to water.
A: Send the item back with instructions on how many beads to add/remove as well as $3.50 for return postage. Any beads removed will not be returned. Please mail your resize to: 821 Ridge Rd., Wilmette, IL 60091 and allow up to 1 week for your item to be returned. The purchase must be within the last 30 days!

A: Our handmade beads are extremely durable because they are created from polymer clay. Polymer clay is not earthen clay; rather, it is a form of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) plastic. The clay hardens by baking at a certain temperature. Once our beads are properly baked, they will not break or fade with regular wear.
A: To the surprise of most, there is no painting involved with our beads. Our beads are made entirely of clay and involve many labor-intensive steps. Watch our bead-making video
A: If your She Beads have become stretched, they can be restrung for a $4 fee per item. For mail-in customers please include an additional $3.50 for return shipping. Please send your restrings to: She Beads, 821 Ridge Rd., Wilmette, Illinois, 60091. Although re-strings usually take 1 week, please allow up to 3 weeks for your items to be returned.
